Can u hook up 600w subs to a (rms 575) 1200w amp without it blowing?

I have a 1200w mono block amplifier and I am wondering if I can hook up 2 600w subwoofers to it without it blowing them is the 1200w's going to the subs or just 575w's? I don't understand (rms)
