How to quicken up the growth of my hair?

ive been trying to grow my hair for a good while now, my hairdressers likes to chop so ive stopped getting it cut there and just trimming it myself, ive stopped straightening it and using heat pretection spray when blow drying. im a natural brunette but get my hair dyed blonde. is there any way i could quicken the speed it grows and make it thick and healthy?
