Noise in Ear that wont go away !!?

I starting getting something similiar a few weeks ago. I also suffer from TMJ as well, and I was thinking that mine might be something to do with the extra pressure I have in my head and ears as a result of the TMJ. I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is quite the same as what you described - mine feels more like if you've ever had a moth in your ear and it flaps its wings about (a kind of throbbing sensation combined with the feel you get when your ears are blocked with water after swimming mixed with something else that I can't describe). I also thought it might have been something to do with blood pressure and my heartbeat and such when it first started to happen, but I don't think it is now. It comes on randomly, but once I get it, it lasts for about 10 seconds as well, and then will return about half an hour later and will keep on doing this for about 2 hours and then it will go away and come back randomly a few hours later - really weird, I know, but I promise I'm telling the truth! Sorry I don't have any other information, just my personal experience
