Question about road test?

I'm about to take my road test here in Arkansas. I'm 15. Right now I have an INSTRUCTION permit. According to the insurance company there is a different between that and a learners permit. Anyways I first got my permit at 14, I passed the written test the first time but it expired after a year, so I had to take it again which again I passed. So this time it expires in March of 2012. Which is after my birthday in Feb. so I will be 16 by then. Anyways, my question is if I go ahead and take the road test and pass, will I have to take it again when i'm 16? The person said if I pass the road test I will get a learners permit, which instead of a piece of paper, it is a card like a license. And when I turn 16 will I just exchange that for my actual license (not permit)?
